Proverbs: 9

9:16Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: and as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him,

9:16No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse.

9:16So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

9:16And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you.

9:16I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.

9:16So Jehu rode in a chariot, and went to Jezreel; for Joram lay there. And Ahaziah king of Judah was come down to see Joram.

9:16And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

9:16For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!

9:16For Pharaoh king of Egypt had gone up, and taken Gezer, and burnt it with fire, and slain the Canaanites that dwelt in the city, and given it for a present unto his daughter, Solomon's wife.

9:16But the other Jews that were in the king's provinces gathered themselves together, and stood for their lives, and had rest from their enemies, and slew of their foes seventy and five thousand, but they laid not their hands on the prey,

9:16If I had called, and he had answered me; yet would I not believe that he had hearkened unto my voice.

9:16But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,

9:16The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.

9:16And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest of Lebanon.

9:16Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

9:16And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as an ensign upon his land.

9:16And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth.

9:1616So it was alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

9:16And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

9:16To morrow about this time I will send thee a man out of the land of Benjamin, and thou shalt anoint him to be captain over my people Israel, that he may save my people out of the hand of the Philistines: for I have looked upon my people, because their cry is come unto me.

9:16Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

9:16And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

9:17They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

9:17(For my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:

9:17Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

9:17Now therefore, O our God, hear the prayer of thy servant, and his supplications, and cause thy face to shine upon thy sanctuary that is desolate, for the Lord's sake.

9:17And the children of Israel journeyed, and came unto their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon, and Chephirah, and Beeroth, and Kirjathjearim.

9:17And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

9:17And the porters were, Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren: Shallum was the chief;

9:17And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.

9:17For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

9:17And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

9:17And there stood a watchman on the tower in Jezreel, and he spied the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Joram said, Take an horseman, and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?

9:17On the thirteenth day of the month Adar; and on the fourteenth day of the same rested they, and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

9:17My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him: and they shall be wanderers among the nations.

9:17Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.

9:17And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

9:17For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.

9:17And I took the two tables, and cast them out of my two hands, and brake them before your eyes.

9:17Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Consider ye, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for cunning women, that they may come:

9:17Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

9:17And Solomon built Gezer, and Bethhoron the nether,

9:17And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

9:17Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with pure gold.

9:17The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

9:17For how great is his goodness, and how great is his beauty! corn shall make the young men cheerful, and new wine the maids.

9:17For he breaketh me with a tempest, and multiplieth my wounds without cause.

9:17For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me.

9:1717And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.

9:17And God said unto Noah, This is the token of the covenant, which I have established between me and all flesh that is upon the earth.
