Proverbs: 13

13:24He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

13:2424The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.

13:24And Absalom came to the king, and said, Behold now, thy servant hath sheepshearers; let the king, I beseech thee, and his servants go with thy servant.

13:24And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

13:24Therefore will I scatter them as the stubble that passeth away by the wind of the wilderness.

13:24So Hazael king of Syria died; and Benhadad his son reigned in his stead.

13:24And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Jews' language, but according to the language of each people.

13:24Wherefore hidest thou thy face, and holdest me for thine enemy?

13:24Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burneth have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;

13:24And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of Gad, even unto the children of Gad according to their families.

13:24And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

13:24Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.

13:24Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

13:24But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

13:24Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

13:24Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

13:24When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.

13:25And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

13:25He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

13:25And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think ye that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there cometh one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.

13:25When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

13:25But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

13:2525And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.

13:25The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.

13:25And the king said to Absalom, Nay, my son, let us not all now go, lest we be chargeable unto thee. And he pressed him: howbeit he would not go, but blessed him.

13:25And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

13:25And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

13:25And Jehoash the son of Jehoahaz took again out of the hand of Benhadad the son of Hazael the cities, which he had taken out of the hand of Jehoahaz his father by war. Three times did Joash beat him, and recovered the cities of Israel.

13:25Wilt thou break a leaf driven to and fro? and wilt thou pursue the dry stubble?

13:25This is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the LORD; because thou hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.

13:25Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.

13:25And their coast was Jazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, unto Aroer that is before Rabbah;

13:25And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.

13:2626And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.

13:26Then said Absalom, If not, I pray thee, let my brother Amnon go with us. And the king said unto him, Why should he go with thee?

13:26Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.

13:26Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy face, that thy shame may appear.

13:26And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

13:26For thou writest bitter things against me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth.

13:26But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:

13:26And from Heshbon unto Ramathmizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim unto the border of Debir;

13:26But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

13:26Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

13:26Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.

13:26Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

13:26And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

13:27And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

13:27For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

13:27And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.
