1 Samuel: 14

14:33Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against the LORD, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed: roll a great stone unto me this day.

14:3333And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcases be wasted in the wilderness.

14:33Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding: but that which is in the midst of fools is made known.

14:33So Joab came to the king, and told him: and when he had called for Absalom, he came to the king, and bowed himself on his face to the ground before the king: and the king kissed Absalom.

14:33And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

14:33Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

14:33And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed, and to be very heavy;

14:33For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

14:33So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.

14:34And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

14:34And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

14:34Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

14:34Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?

14:34And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against the LORD in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there.

14:3434After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

14:34Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.

14:34When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

14:35And Saul built an altar unto the LORD: the same was the first altar that he built unto the LORD.

14:3535I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.

14:35The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame.

14:35And he that owneth the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seemeth to me there is as it were a plague in the house:

14:35And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

14:35It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

14:35And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.

14:35And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

14:36What? came the word of God out from you? or came it unto you only?

14:36And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

14:36And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

14:36And Saul said, Let us go down after the Philistines by night, and spoil them until the morning light, and let us not leave a man of them. And they said, Do whatsoever seemeth good unto thee. Then said the priest, Let us draw near hither unto God.

14:3636And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,

14:36Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:

14:37And Saul asked counsel of God, Shall I go down after the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into the hand of Israel? But he answered him not that day.

14:3737Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.

14:37And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;

14:37And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour?

14:37If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

14:38Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak.

14:38But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.

14:38And Saul said, Draw ye near hither, all the chief of the people: and know and see wherein this sin hath been this day.

14:3838But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.

14:38Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:

14:39For, as the LORD liveth, which saveth Israel, though it be in Jonathan my son, he shall surely die. But there was not a man among all the people that answered him.

14:3939And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

14:39And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;

14:39Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.

14:39And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

14:40And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him.

14:40Let all things be done decently and in order.

14:40Then said he unto all Israel, Be ye on one side, and I and Jonathan my son will be on the other side. And the people said unto Saul, Do what seemeth good unto thee.

14:4040And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.
