Joshua: 15

15:46From Ekron even unto the sea, all that lay near Ashdod, with their villages:

15:46And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.

15:46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

15:47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

15:47And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.

15:47Ashdod with her towns and her villages, Gaza with her towns and her villages, unto the river of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border thereof:

15:48And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,

15:48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

15:49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

15:49And Dannah, and Kirjathsannah, which is Debir,

15:50And Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

15:50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

15:51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

15:51And Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities with their villages:

15:52Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,

15:52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

15:53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

15:53And Janum, and Bethtappuah, and Aphekah,

15:54And Humtah, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, and Zior; nine cities with their villages:

15:54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

15:55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

15:55Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,

15:56And Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

15:56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

15:57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

15:57Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities with their villages:

15:58Halhul, Bethzur, and Gedor,

15:58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

15:59And Maarath, and Bethanoth, and Eltekon; six cities with their villages:

15:60Kirjathbaal, which is Kirjathjearim, and Rabbah; two cities with their villages:

15:61In the wilderness, Betharabah, Middin, and Secacah,

15:62And Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and Engedi; six cities with their villages.

15:63As for the Jebusites the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the children of Judah could not drive them out: but the Jebusites dwell with the children of Judah at Jerusalem unto this day.

16:1The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,

16:1And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.

16:1In the seventeenth year of Pekah the son of Remaliah Ahaz the son of Jotham king of Judah began to reign.

16:1And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

16:1Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

16:1(Michtam of David.) Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

16:1The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

16:1And when David was a little past the top of the hill, behold, Ziba the servant of Mephibosheth met him, with a couple of asses saddled, and upon them two hundred loaves of bread, and an hundred bunches of raisins, and an hundred of summer fruits, and a bottle of wine.

16:1Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying,

16:1Send ye the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.

16:1Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

16:1Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD thy God: for in the month of Abib the LORD thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night.

16:1So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

16:1Then Job answered and said,

16:1In the six and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha king of Israel came up against Judah, and built Ramah, to the intent that he might let none go out or come in to Asa king of Judah.

16:1And the lot of the children of Joseph fell from Jordan by Jericho, unto the water of Jericho on the east, to the wilderness that goeth up from Jericho throughout mount Bethel,

16:1And the LORD spake unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;
