Proverbs: 17

17:12Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.

17:12And she said, As the LORD thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.

17:12For they served idols, whereof the LORD had said unto them, Ye shall not do this thing.

17:12Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing of mighty waters!

17:12And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.

17:12And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.

17:12He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever.

17:12They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.

17:12A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.

17:12And Jehoshaphat waxed great exceedingly; and he built in Judah castles, and cities of store.

17:12Say now to the rebellious house, Know ye not what these things mean? tell them, Behold, the king of Babylon is come to Jerusalem, and hath taken the king thereof, and the princes thereof, and led them with him to Babylon;

17:12Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

17:12Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.

17:12Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.

17:12And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.

17:13And the three eldest sons of Jesse went and followed Saul to the battle: and the names of his three sons that went to the battle were Eliab the firstborn, and next unto him Abinadab, and the third Shammah.

17:1313Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?

17:13And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

17:13Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

17:13Moreover, if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Israel bring ropes to that city, and we will draw it into the river, until there be not one small stone found there.

17:13Whoso rewardeth evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.

17:13And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son.

17:13Yet the LORD testified against Israel, and against Judah, by all the prophets, and by all the seers, saying, Turn ye from your evil ways, and keep my commandments and my statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by my servants the prophets.

17:13The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.

17:13And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

17:13He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.

17:13I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

17:13If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.

17:13O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.

17:13And he had much business in the cities of Judah: and the men of war, mighty men of valour, were in Jerusalem.

17:13And hath taken of the king's seed, and made a covenant with him, and hath taken an oath of him: he hath also taken the mighty of the land:

17:13Yet it came to pass, when the children of Israel were waxen strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute; but did not utterly drive them out.

17:13And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.

17:13Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.

17:13Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

17:13And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

17:13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

17:13And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

17:13But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was preached of Paul at Berea, they came thither also, and stirred up the people.

17:14I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17:14And then immediately the brethren sent away Paul to go as it were to the sea: but Silas and Timotheus abode there still.

17:14These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

17:14And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

17:14And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

17:14And David was the youngest: and the three eldest followed Saul.

17:14And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

17:14And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.

17:14The beginning of strife is as when one letteth out water: therefore leave off contention, before it be meddled with.

17:14For thus saith the LORD God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the LORD sendeth rain upon the earth.

17:14Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise.
