Ruth: 1

1:3And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

1:3According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

1:3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

1:3In the third year of his reign, he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants; the power of Persia and Media, the nobles and princes of the provinces, being before him:

1:3And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

1:33From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.

1:3I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

1:3For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

1:3The ox knoweth his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel doth not know, my people doth not consider.

1:3So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim; which conceived, and bare him a son.

1:3We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth;

1:3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

1:3And Judah said unto Simeon his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Canaanites; and I likewise will go with thee into thy lot. So Simeon went with him.

1:3As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

1:3Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

1:3And David said unto him, From whence comest thou? And he said unto him, Out of the camp of Israel am I escaped.

1:3But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

1:3And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;

1:3The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

1:3We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

1:3So they sought for a fair damsel throughout all the coasts of Israel, and found Abishag a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.

1:3And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;

1:3Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,

1:3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

1:3The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

1:3I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

1:3But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

1:3Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

1:3Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,

1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1:3The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

1:3Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

1:3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

1:3Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.

1:3Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee.

1:3For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.

1:3Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

1:3Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:3That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1:3Then came the word of the LORD by Haggai the prophet, saying,

1:3And this man went up out of his city yearly to worship and to sacrifice unto the LORD of hosts in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the LORD, were there.

1:3He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.

1:3Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;

1:3And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

1:3What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?

1:3So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God, which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.

1:3Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts.

1:3But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

1:4I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.

1:4From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
