49:7Cursed be their anger, for it was fierce; and their wrath, for it was cruel: I will divide them in Jacob, and scatter them in Israel.

49:8(For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceaseth for ever:)

49:9That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.

49:9Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

49:10But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.

49:10For he seeth that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.

49:10They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

49:11Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.

49:11Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.

49:11Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

49:12For thus saith the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and art thou he that shall altogether go unpunished? thou shalt not go unpunished, but thou shalt surely drink of it.

49:12Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.

49:12Nevertheless man being in honour abideth not: he is like the beasts that perish.

49:12His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk.

49:16Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;

49:16Thy terribleness hath deceived thee, and the pride of thine heart, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, that holdest the height of the hill: though thou shouldest make thy nest as high as the eagle, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.

49:16Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

49:18Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself.

49:18I have waited for thy salvation, O LORD.
