Proverbs: 8

8:36But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.

8:36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

8:36For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

8:36And Ahaz begat Jehoadah; and Jehoadah begat Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begat Moza,

8:36They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.

8:37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

8:37I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

8:37If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be;

8:37Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.

8:37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

8:37Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

8:37And Moza begat Binea: Rapha was his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son:

8:38I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

8:38And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

8:38What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:

8:38And Azel had six sons, whose names are these, Azrikam, Bocheru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Azel.

8:38Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

8:38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

8:38Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

8:39They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

8:39And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.

8:39Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men;)

8:39And the sons of Eshek his brother were, Ulam his firstborn, Jehush the second, and Eliphelet the third.

8:39Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

8:39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

8:40And the sons of Ulam were mighty men of valour, archers, and had many sons, and sons' sons, an hundred and fifty. All these are of the sons of Benjamin.

8:40But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

8:40But Philip was found at Azotus: and passing through he preached in all the cities, till he came to Caesarea.

8:40That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

8:40And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

8:41Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

8:41Moreover concerning a stranger, that is not of thy people Israel, but cometh out of a far country for thy name's sake;

8:41And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

8:42(For they shall hear of thy great name, and of thy strong hand, and of thy stretched out arm;) when he shall come and pray toward this house;

8:42For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.

8:42Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

8:43Hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calleth to thee for: that all people of the earth may know thy name, to fear thee, as do thy people Israel; and that they may know that this house, which I have builded, is called by thy name.

8:43And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

8:43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

8:44If thy people go out to battle against their enemy, whithersoever thou shalt send them, and shall pray unto the LORD toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house that I have built for thy name:

8:44Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

8:44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

8:45Then hear thou in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.

8:45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

8:45And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me?

8:46Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

8:46If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

8:46And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

8:47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

8:47Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
