8:47He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
8:48And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive, and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name:
8:48And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
8:48Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?
8:49Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy dwelling place, and maintain their cause,
8:49Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.

8:50And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:
8:50But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
8:50And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.
8:51And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.
8:51For they be thy people, and thine inheritance, which thou broughtest forth out of Egypt, from the midst of the furnace of iron:
8:51Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
8:52And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth.
8:52That thine eyes may be open unto the supplication of thy servant, and unto the supplication of thy people Israel, to hearken unto them in all that they call for unto thee.
8:52Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
8:53And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.
8:53For thou didst separate them from among all the people of the earth, to be thine inheritance, as thou spakest by the hand of Moses thy servant, when thou broughtest our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.
8:53Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
8:54And it was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and supplication unto the LORD, he arose from before the altar of the LORD, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread up to heaven.

8:54Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

8:57Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
8:58That he may incline our hearts unto him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
8:58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
8:59And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD, be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
8:59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
8:60That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God, and that there is none else.

8:65And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
8:66On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that the LORD had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.

9:1I saw the Lord standing upon the altar: and he said, Smite the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake: and cut them in the head, all of them; and I will slay the last of them with the sword: he that fleeth of them shall not flee away, and he that escapeth of them shall not be delivered.

9:1And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan, in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;
