Mark: 10

10:45For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

10:46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

10:46And they came to Jericho: and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the highway side begging.

10:47Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

10:47And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

10:48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

10:48And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me.

10:49And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee.

10:50And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus.

10:51And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.

10:52And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

11:1A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

11:1Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valour, and he was the son of an harlot: and Gilead begat Jephthah.

11:1And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

11:1And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.

11:1And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.

11:2And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman.

11:2And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, thou wast he that leddest out and broughtest in Israel: and the LORD thy God said unto thee, Thou shalt feed my people Israel, and thou shalt be ruler over my people Israel.

11:2And to the kings that were on the north of the mountains, and of the plains south of Chinneroth, and in the valley, and in the borders of Dor on the west,
