Judges: 11

11:8And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gilead.

11:8Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

11:8I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.

11:8For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

11:8(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.

11:8I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

11:8And the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who smote them, and chased them unto great Zidon, and unto Misrephothmaim, and unto the valley of Mizpeh eastward; and they smote them, until they left them none remaining.

11:8Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

11:8And after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty and eight.

11:8And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.

11:8Yet they obeyed not, nor inclined their ear, but walked every one in the imagination of their evil heart: therefore I will bring upon them all the words of this covenant, which I commanded them to do; but they did them not.

11:8And Gath, and Mareshah, and Ziph,

11:8How shall I give thee up, Ephraim? how shall I deliver thee, Israel? how shall I make thee as Admah? how shall I set thee as Zeboim? mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

11:8But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

11:8And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.

11:8And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.

11:8But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.

11:8His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again?

11:8And likewise did he for all his strange wives, which burnt incense and sacrificed unto their gods.

11:8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.

11:8And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.

11:8It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know?

11:8And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their princes, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.

11:8Three shepherds also I cut off in one month; and my soul lothed them, and their soul also abhorred me.

11:8Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

11:8And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

11:88And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.

11:8But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.

11:8And when he numbered them in Bezek, the children of Israel were three hundred thousand, and the men of Judah thirty thousand.

11:8And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

11:8The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.

11:8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

11:9And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:

11:9Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.

11:9And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the LORD deliver them before me, shall I be your head?

11:9And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

11:9By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

11:9And the LORD said unto me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah, and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

11:9And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

11:9And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with fire.

11:9These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

11:9And Joel the son of Zichri was their overseer: and Judah the son of Senuah was second over the city.

11:9So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.

11:9And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.

11:9But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

11:9And Adoraim, and Lachish, and Azekah,

11:9They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

11:9And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

11:9But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

11:9And the LORD was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned from the LORD God of Israel, which had appeared unto him twice,
