Deuteronomy: 1

1:43So I spake unto you; and ye would not hear, but rebelled against the commandment of the LORD, and went presumptuously up into the hill.

1:43Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

1:44For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

1:44And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

1:44And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, even unto Hormah.

1:44And the king hath sent with him Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and the Cherethites, and the Pelethites, and they have caused him to ride upon the king's mule:

1:44Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.

1:4444These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.

1:44And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

1:45And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

1:45And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.

1:45And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor give ear unto you.

1:4545So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

1:45But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

1:45And Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet have anointed him king in Gihon: and they are come up from thence rejoicing, so that the city rang again. This is the noise that ye have heard.

1:45Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.

1:46And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.

1:46And also Solomon sitteth on the throne of the kingdom.

1:46And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.

1:4646Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.

1:46So ye abode in Kadesh many days, according unto the days that ye abode there.

1:46And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord,

1:47And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

1:47Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

1:47And moreover the king's servants came to bless our lord king David, saying, God make the name of Solomon better than thy name, and make his throne greater than thy throne. And the king bowed himself upon the bed.

1:4747But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

1:47And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

1:48Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.

1:48And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.

1:4848For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

1:48And also thus said the king, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which hath given one to sit on my throne this day, mine eyes even seeing it.

1:48For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

1:49And all the guests that were with Adonijah were afraid, and rose up, and went every man his way.

1:49Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.

1:4949Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:

1:49And when Shaul was dead, Baalhanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

1:49For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

1:50Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.

1:5050But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

1:50And Adonijah feared because of Solomon, and arose, and went, and caught hold on the horns of the altar.

1:50And when Baalhanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.

1:50And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.

1:51And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

1:51And it was told Solomon, saying, Behold, Adonijah feareth king Solomon: for, lo, he hath caught hold on the horns of the altar, saying, Let king Solomon swear unto me to day that he will not slay his servant with the sword.

1:5151And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

1:51He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

1:51Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,

1:5252And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

1:52Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,

1:52He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree.
