2:2So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal's wife the Carmelite.

2:2As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.

2:2And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2:2And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

2:2And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

2:2The Lord hath swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and hath not pitied: he hath thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he hath brought them down to the ground: he hath polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

2:2Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

2:2The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,

2:2For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?

2:2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
