26:6Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
26:6Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
26:6And now I stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made of God unto our fathers:
26:6I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:
26:6And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
26:6And the Egyptians evil entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage:
26:6He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage.
26:6The foot shall tread it down, even the feet of the poor, and the steps of the needy.
26:6Also unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour.
26:6Hell is naked before him, and destruction hath no covering.

26:7The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools.
26:7The way of the just is uprightness: thou, most upright, dost weigh the path of the just.
26:7The sons of Shemaiah; Othni, and Rephael, and Obed, Elzabad, whose brethren were strong men, Elihu, and Semachiah.
26:7He stretcheth out the north over the empty place, and hangeth the earth upon nothing.

26:8Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, Thou shalt surely die.
26:8And it came to pass, when he had been there a long time, that Abimelech king of the Philistines looked out at a window, and saw, and, behold, Isaac was sporting with Rebekah his wife.
26:8Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time.
26:8And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.
26:8And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly.
26:8Why should it be thought a thing incredible with you, that God should raise the dead?
26:8The length of one curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure.
26:8LORD, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

26:8As he that bindeth a stone in a sling, so is he that giveth honour to a fool.
26:8Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O LORD, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee.
26:8All these of the sons of Obededom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men for strength for the service, were threescore and two of Obededom.
26:8But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?
26:8He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee.
26:8He bindeth up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.
26:9Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
26:9And Abimelech called Isaac, and said, Behold, of a surety she is thy wife: and how saidst thou, She is my sister? And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.
26:9And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD'S anointed, and be guiltless?
26:9And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:
26:9Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them.
26:9I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.
26:9For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
