Exodus: 33

33:3Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

33:3And he passed over before them, and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.

33:3At the noise of the tumult the people fled; at the lifting up of thyself the nations were scattered.

33:3My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

33:3Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise.

33:3For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

33:4Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

33:4For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;

33:4Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

33:4The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.

33:4For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.

33:4And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.

33:4And your spoil shall be gathered like the gathering of the caterpiller: as the running to and fro of locusts shall he run upon them.

33:4And Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him: and they wept.

33:4For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.

33:4Moses commanded us a law, even the inheritance of the congregation of Jacob.

33:5And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

33:5And the children of Israel removed from Rameses, and pitched in Succoth.

33:5For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

33:5And he lifted up his eyes, and saw the women and the children; and said, Who are those with thee? And he said, The children which God hath graciously given thy servant.

33:5He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

33:5The LORD is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment and righteousness.

33:5If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.

33:5They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.

33:5And he was king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people and the tribes of Israel were gathered together.

33:5He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

33:6And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

33:6And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation: the fear of the LORD is his treasure.

33:6And they departed from Succoth, and pitched in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.

33:6And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.

33:6But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

33:6Then the handmaidens came near, they and their children, and they bowed themselves.

33:6Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.

33:6Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.

33:6By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

33:6Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his men be few.

33:7Behold, their valiant ones shall cry without: the ambassadors of peace shall weep bitterly.

33:7And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

33:7And they removed from Etham, and turned again unto Pihahiroth, which is before Baalzephon: and they pitched before Migdol.

33:7And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, afar off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.

33:7And Leah also with her children came near, and bowed themselves: and after came Joseph near and Rachel, and they bowed themselves.

33:7And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

33:7And this is the blessing of Judah: and he said, Hear, LORD, the voice of Judah, and bring him unto his people: let his hands be sufficient for him; and be thou an help to him from his enemies.

33:7Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.

33:7So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

33:7He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses.

33:8Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.

33:8The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: he hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.

33:8When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

33:8And they departed from before Pihahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and pitched in Marah.
