Isaiah: 33

33:18Thine heart shall meditate terror. Where is the scribe? where is the receiver? where is he that counted the towers?

33:18And they departed from Hazeroth, and pitched in Rithmah.

33:18And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

33:18And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the land of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city.

33:18And of Zebulun he said, Rejoice, Zebulun, in thy going out; and, Issachar, in thy tents.

33:18He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

33:19They shall call the people unto the mountain; there they shall offer sacrifices of righteousness: for they shall suck of the abundance of the seas, and of treasures hid in the sand.

33:19To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

33:19But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

33:19His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

33:19And they departed from Rithmah, and pitched at Rimmonparez.

33:19And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

33:19And he bought a parcel of a field, where he had spread his tent, at the hand of the children of Hamor, Shechem's father, for an hundred pieces of money.

33:19And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,

33:19Thou shalt not see a fierce people, a people of a deeper speech than thou canst perceive; of a stammering tongue, that thou canst not understand.

33:19He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

33:20And of Gad he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth Gad: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head.

33:20Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

33:20And they departed from Rimmonparez, and pitched in Libnah.

33:20So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.

33:20And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

33:20Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.

33:20Thus saith the LORD; If ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;

33:20And he erected there an altar, and called it Elelohe-Israel.

33:20So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.

33:20Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

33:21And he provided the first part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel.

33:21And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

33:21Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.

33:21And they removed from Libnah, and pitched at Rissah.

33:21And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

33:21For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

33:21But there the glorious LORD will be unto us a place of broad rivers and streams; wherein shall go no galley with oars, neither shall gallant ship pass thereby.

33:21Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.

33:21His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

33:22For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

33:22But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;

33:22Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

33:22And they journeyed from Rissah, and pitched in Kehelathah.

33:22And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

33:22And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.

33:22As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.

33:22Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

33:22Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

33:23Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

33:23And they went from Kehelathah, and pitched in mount Shapher.

33:23And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.

33:23And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

33:23Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

33:23If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
