1 Kings: 1

1:11Wherefore Nathan spake unto Bathsheba the mother of Solomon, saying, Hast thou not heard that Adonijah the son of Haggith doth reign, and David our lord knoweth it not?

1:11Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

1:11And from thence he went against the inhabitants of Debir: and the name of Debir before was Kirjathsepher:

1:1111Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.

1:11Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing.

1:11But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

1:11And he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD: and the priests, Aaron's sons, shall sprinkle his blood round about upon the altar.

1:11For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;

1:11For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

1:11According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

1:11In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners entered into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou wast as one of them.

1:11Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

1:11Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

1:11Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

1:11Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

1:11Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

1:11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

1:11He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

1:11Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that doeth good is of God: but he that doeth evil hath not seen God.

1:12And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

1:12When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.

1:12While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

1:12They say to their mothers, Where is corn and wine? when they swooned as the wounded in the streets of the city, when their soul was poured out into their mothers' bosom.

1:12That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:12But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

1:12And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth.

1:12Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

1:12How can I myself alone bear your cumbrance, and your burden, and your strife?

1:12When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?

1:12Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction.

1:12And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.

1:12Wherefore I will not be negligent to put you always in remembrance of these things, though ye know them, and be established in the present truth.

1:12Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

1:12Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

1:12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

1:12One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

1:12Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.

1:12Then the angel of the LORD answered and said, O LORD of hosts, how long wilt thou not have mercy on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

1:12I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.

1:12Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

1:12And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

1:12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

1:1212Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

1:12And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

1:12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

1:12But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress.

1:12And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

1:12But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

1:12Now therefore come, let me, I pray thee, give thee counsel, that thou mayest save thine own life, and the life of thy son Solomon.
