2 Kings: 1

1:15And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

1:16Therefore they sacrifice unto their net, and burn incense unto their drag; because by them their portion is fat, and their meat plenteous.

1:16Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green.

1:16For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

1:16They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

1:16Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

1:16And they answered Joshua, saying, All that thou commandest us we will do, and whithersoever thou sendest us, we will go.

1:16And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.

1:16To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood:

1:16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

1:16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.

1:16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

1:16Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

1:16Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

1:16And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

1:16And David said unto him, Thy blood be upon thy head; for thy mouth hath testified against thee, saying, I have slain the LORD'S anointed.

1:16I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.

1:16And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.

1:16And the children of the Kenite, Moses' father in law, went up out of the city of palm trees with the children of Judah into the wilderness of Judah, which lieth in the south of Arad; and they went and dwelt among the people.

1:16And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

1:16All thine enemies have opened their mouth against thee: they hiss and gnash the teeth: they say, We have swallowed her up: certainly this is the day that we looked for; we have found, we have seen it.

1:16The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

1:16Make thee bald, and poll thee for thy delicate children; enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.

1:16Then the men feared the LORD exceedingly, and offered a sacrifice unto the LORD, and made vows.

1:16Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

1:16Therefore thus saith the LORD; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.

1:16And Bathsheba bowed, and did obeisance unto the king. And the king said, What wouldest thou?

1:16Thus Melzar took away the portion of their meat, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse.

1:16Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

1:16And he shall pluck away his crop with his feathers, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, by the place of the ashes:

1:16For their feet run to evil, and make haste to shed blood.

1:16The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

1:16And he said, When ye do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then ye shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

1:16The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

1:16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

1:16And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

1:16And Memucan answered before the king and the princes, Vashti the queen hath not done wrong to the king only, but also to all the princes, and to all the people that are in all the provinces of the king Ahasuerus.

1:16While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

1:16And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

1:16And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's merchants received the linen yarn at a price.

1:16And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron, is it not because there is no God in Israel to enquire of his word? therefore thou shalt not come down off that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.

1:16And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

1:16Do not err, my beloved brethren.

1:16And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him.

1:16And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

1:16And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

1:16A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

1:16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

1:1616These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.

1:16Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;
