2 Samuel: 1

1:13And David said unto the young man that told him, Whence art thou? And he answered, I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.

1:13Remember the word which Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, saying, The LORD your God hath given you rest, and hath given you this land.

1:13For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;

1:13Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

1:13What thing shall I take to witness for thee? what thing shall I liken to thee, O daughter of Jerusalem? what shall I equal to thee, that I may comfort thee, O virgin daughter of Zion? for thy breach is great like the sea: who can heal thee?

1:13I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto thee:

1:13Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over Israel.

1:13Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken.

1:13Take you wise men, and understanding, and known among your tribes, and I will make them rulers over you.

1:13And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

1:13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

1:13Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

1:13For ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:

1:13For now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds in sunder.

1:13And Othniel the son of Kenaz, Caleb's younger brother, took it: and he gave him Achsah his daughter to wife.

1:13Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

1:13This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

1:13As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

1:13And the evening and the morning were the third day.

1:13But he shall wash the inwards and the legs with water: and the priest shall bring it all, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.

1:13So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

1:13The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

1:13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

1:13And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:

1:13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

1:13Therefore their goods shall become a booty, and their houses a desolation: they shall also build houses, but not inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, but not drink the wine thereof.

1:13Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

1:13Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

1:13Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1:13Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought an offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD.

1:13And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,

1:13But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.

1:13We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil:

1:13Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.

1:13Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.

1:13And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

1:13Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

1:14Behold, while thou yet talkest there with the king, I also will come in after thee, and confirm thy words.

1:14So the angel that communed with me said unto me, Cry thou, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy.

1:14And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1:14Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.

1:14Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

1:14Wherefore they cried unto the LORD, and said, We beseech thee, O LORD, we beseech thee, let us not perish for this man's life, and lay not upon us innocent blood: for thou, O LORD, hast done as it pleased thee.

1:14And the next unto him was Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena, and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media, which saw the king's face, and which sat the first in the kingdom;)

1:14Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.

1:14Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

1:14Therefore shalt thou give presents to Moreshethgath: the houses of Achzib shall be a lie to the kings of Israel.

1:14And let ours also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

1:14My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.
