Genesis: 39

39:13And it came to pass, when she saw that he had left his garment in her hand, and was fled forth,

39:14Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.

39:14And they shall sever out men of continual employment, passing through the land to bury with the passengers those that remain upon the face of the earth, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search.

39:14And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.

39:14Which leaveth her eggs in the earth, and warmeth them in dust,

39:14That she called unto the men of her house, and spake unto them, saying, See, he hath brought in an Hebrew unto us to mock us; he came in unto me to lie with me, and I cried with a loud voice:

39:15Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,

39:15And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of wreathen work of pure gold.

39:15And the passengers that pass through the land, when any seeth a man's bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamongog.

39:15And forgetteth that the foot may crush them, or that the wild beast may break them.

39:15And it came to pass, when he heard that I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled, and got him out.

39:16Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before thee.

39:16And they made two ouches of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.

39:16She is hardened against her young ones, as though they were not hers: her labour is in vain without fear;

39:16And she laid up his garment by her, until his lord came home.

39:16And also the name of the city shall be Hamonah. Thus shall they cleanse the land.

39:17But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid.

39:17And they put the two wreathen chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.

39:17And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

39:17And she spake unto him according to these words, saying, The Hebrew servant, which thou hast brought unto us, came in unto me to mock me:

39:17Because God hath deprived her of wisdom, neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

39:18For I will surely deliver thee, and thou shalt not fall by the sword, but thy life shall be for a prey unto thee: because thou hast put thy trust in me, saith the LORD.

39:18And the two ends of the two wreathen chains they fastened in the two ouches, and put them on the shoulderpieces of the ephod, before it.

39:18What time she lifteth up herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

39:18And it came to pass, as I lifted up my voice and cried, that he left his garment with me, and fled out.

39:18Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

39:19And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

39:19Hast thou given the horse strength? hast thou clothed his neck with thunder?

39:19And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.

39:19And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his wife, which she spake unto him, saying, After this manner did thy servant to me; that his wrath was kindled.

39:20And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

39:20And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the forepart of it, over against the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.

39:20Canst thou make him afraid as a grasshopper? the glory of his nostrils is terrible.

39:20Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

39:21But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

39:21And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.

39:21And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them.

39:21He paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in his strength: he goeth on to meet the armed men.

39:22And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

39:22So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God from that day and forward.

39:22And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.

39:22He mocketh at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from the sword.

39:23And the heathen shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed against me, therefore hid I my face from them, and gave them into the hand of their enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

39:23And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an habergeon, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.

39:23The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

39:23The quiver rattleth against him, the glittering spear and the shield.

39:24According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions have I done unto them, and hid my face from them.

39:24And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.

39:24He swalloweth the ground with fierceness and rage: neither believeth he that it is the sound of the trumpet.

39:25Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous for my holy name;
