Exodus: 38

38:12And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.

38:12Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

38:13But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

38:13That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it?

38:13Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?

38:13So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.

38:13And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.

38:13I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

38:13And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep.

38:14Thus I was as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

38:14Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.

38:14It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment.

38:14Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?

38:14And she put her widow's garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.

38:14The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

38:14Like a crane or a swallow, so did I chatter: I did mourn as a dove: mine eyes fail with looking upward: O LORD, I am oppressed; undertake for me.

38:15For in thee, O LORD, do I hope: thou wilt hear, O Lord my God.

38:15When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.

38:15What shall I say? he hath both spoken unto me, and himself hath done it: I shall go softly all my years in the bitterness of my soul.

38:15And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.

38:15And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:

38:15And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken.

38:15Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me?

38:16O Lord, by these things men live, and in all these things is the life of my spirit: so wilt thou recover me, and make me to live.

38:16For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

38:16And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me?

38:16And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

38:16All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.

38:16Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth?

38:16So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life.

38:17And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it?

38:17Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death?

38:17Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?

38:17Behold, for peace I had great bitterness: but thou hast in love to my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption: for thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back.

38:17And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their chapiters of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.

38:17Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:

38:17For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.

38:18For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

38:18And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.

38:18For the grave cannot praise thee, death can not celebrate thee: they that go down into the pit cannot hope for thy truth.

38:18Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

38:18And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

38:18But if thou wilt not go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then shall this city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand.

38:18And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.

38:19And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.

38:19And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.

38:19But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

38:19And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their chapiters and their fillets of silver.

38:19The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth.

38:19Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
