1 Samuel: 1

1:6And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb.

1:6Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

1:6And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

1:6And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

1:6And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;

1:6For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

1:6And them that are turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor enquired for him.

1:6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

1:6And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.

1:6Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

1:6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

1:6And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

1:6Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

1:6The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.

1:6The LORD our God spake unto us in Horeb, saying, Ye have dwelt long enough in this mount:

1:6Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father's house have sinned.

1:6And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

1:6Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

1:6Thus saith the LORD; For three transgressions of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

1:6And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as if it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest.

1:6But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not take hold of your fathers? and they returned and said, Like as the LORD of hosts thought to do unto us, according to our ways, and according to our doings, so hath he dealt with us.

1:6And she conceived again, and bare a daughter. And God said unto him, Call her name Loruhamah: for I will no more have mercy upon the house of Israel; but I will utterly take them away.

1:6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

1:6Where were white, green, and blue, hangings, fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble: the beds were of gold and silver, upon a pavement of red, and blue, and white, and black, marble.

1:6To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

1:6Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

1:6And he shall flay the burnt offering, and cut it into his pieces.

1:6And his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? and he also was a very goodly man; and his mother bare him after Absalom.

1:6When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

1:66Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

1:6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

1:6Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

1:6But Adonibezek fled; and they pursued after him, and caught him, and cut off his thumbs and his great toes.

1:6Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

1:6Therefore I will make Samaria as an heap of the field, and as plantings of a vineyard: and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will discover the foundations thereof.

1:6There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.

1:6And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

1:6Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

1:6Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

1:6And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

1:6Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

1:6Look not upon me, because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me: my mother's children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

1:6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

1:6And the young man that told him said, As I happened by chance upon mount Gilboa, behold, Saul leaned upon his spear; and, lo, the chariots and horsemen followed hard after him.

1:6From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;

1:6If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

1:7In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what I shall give thee.

1:7And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

1:7All the men of thy confederacy have brought thee even to the border: the men that were at peace with thee have deceived thee, and prevailed against thee; they that eat thy bread have laid a wound under thee: there is none understanding in him.

1:7Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all the places nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.
