Genesis: 31

31:5And said unto them, I see your father's countenance, that it is not toward me as before; but the God of my father hath been with me.

31:5Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

31:5And when his armourbearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.

31:5And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.

31:5Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.

31:5So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

31:5The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,

31:5Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.

31:5If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;

31:5Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.

31:5And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the firstfruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.

31:5As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.

31:6And ye know that with all my power I have served your father.

31:6For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.

31:6So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armourbearer, and all his men, that same day together.

31:6And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.

31:6And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,

31:6All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

31:6Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know mine integrity.

31:6I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.

31:6Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.

31:6Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

31:6And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.

31:6Turn ye unto him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

31:7And when the men of Israel that were on the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other side Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.

31:7Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

31:7And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

31:7And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the laver and his foot,

31:7If my step hath turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands;

31:7I will be glad and rejoice in thy mercy: for thou hast considered my trouble; thou hast known my soul in adversities;

31:7For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.

31:7Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

31:7And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

31:7For in that day every man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made unto you for a sin.

31:7In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.

31:7And your father hath deceived me, and changed my wages ten times; but God suffered him not to hurt me.

31:8And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

31:8And it came to pass on the morrow, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.

31:8The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

31:8And hast not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: thou hast set my feet in a large room.

31:8And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

31:8And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

31:8Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.

31:8Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.

31:8Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

31:8Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall flee from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited.

31:8And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.

31:8If he said thus, The speckled shall be thy wages; then all the cattle bare speckled: and if he said thus, The ringstraked shall be thy hire; then bare all the cattle ringstraked.

31:9Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.

31:9And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
