31:35Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.
31:35And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him.
31:35Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
31:35And she said to her father, Let it not displease my lord that I cannot rise up before thee; for the custom of women is upon me. And he searched, but found not the images.
31:36Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.
31:36And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:
31:36And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me?
31:36If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
31:37Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.
31:37And the LORD'S tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen.
31:37Whereas thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.
31:37I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.
31:38If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain;
31:38And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD'S tribute was threescore and twelve.
31:38This twenty years have I been with thee; thy ewes and thy she goats have not cast their young, and the rams of thy flock have I not eaten.
31:38Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
31:39And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD'S tribute was threescore and one.
31:39That which was torn of beasts I brought not unto thee; I bare the loss of it; of my hand didst thou require it, whether stolen by day, or stolen by night.
31:39If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:
31:39And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
31:40Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.
31:40And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD'S tribute was thirty and two persons.
31:40Thus I was; in the day the drought consumed me, and the frost by night; and my sleep departed from mine eyes.
31:40And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
31:41And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD'S heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses.
31:41Thus have I been twenty years in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years for thy cattle: and thou hast changed my wages ten times.
31:42And of the children of Israel's half, which Moses divided from the men that warred,
31:42Except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the fear of Isaac, had been with me, surely thou hadst sent me away now empty. God hath seen mine affliction and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesternight.
31:43(Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep,
31:43And Laban answered and said unto Jacob, These daughters are my daughters, and these children are my children, and these cattle are my cattle, and all that thou seest is mine: and what can I do this day unto these my daughters, or unto their children which they have born?
31:44And thirty and six thousand beeves,
31:44Now therefore come thou, let us make a covenant, I and thou; and let it be for a witness between me and thee.
31:45And thirty thousand asses and five hundred,
31:45And Jacob took a stone, and set it up for a pillar.
31:46And sixteen thousand persons;)
31:46And Jacob said unto his brethren, Gather stones; and they took stones, and made an heap: and they did eat there upon the heap.
31:47Even of the children of Israel's half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
31:47And Laban called it Jegarsahadutha: but Jacob called it Galeed.
31:48And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:
31:48And Laban said, This heap is a witness between me and thee this day. Therefore was the name of it called Galeed;
31:49And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.
31:49And Mizpah; for he said, The LORD watch between me and thee, when we are absent one from another.
31:50We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.
31:50If thou shalt afflict my daughters, or if thou shalt take other wives beside my daughters, no man is with us; see, God is witness betwixt me and thee.
31:51And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels.
31:51And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and behold this pillar, which I have cast betwixt me and thee;
31:52And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.
31:52This heap be witness, and this pillar be witness, that I will not pass over this heap to thee, and that thou shalt not pass over this heap and this pillar unto me, for harm.
31:53(For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)
31:53The God of Abraham, and the God of Nahor, the God of their father, judge betwixt us. And Jacob sware by the fear of his father Isaac.
