Proverbs: 31

31:18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

31:18And I will surely hide my face in that day for all the evils which they shall have wrought, in that they are turned unto other gods.

31:19Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!

31:19Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.

31:19If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;

31:19And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.

31:19And Laban went to shear his sheep: and Rachel had stolen the images that were her father's.

31:19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

31:19Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.

31:19Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.

31:20Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from the pride of man: thou shalt keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

31:20And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats' hair, and all things made of wood.

31:20And Jacob stole away unawares to Laban the Syrian, in that he told him not that he fled.

31:20Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.

31:20For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their fathers, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant.

31:20If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;

31:20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

31:20And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God.

31:21If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:

31:21Blessed be the LORD: for he hath shewed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

31:21And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

31:21So he fled with all that he had; and he rose up, and passed over the river, and set his face toward the mount Gilead.

31:21And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go about, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware.

31:21Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.

31:21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

31:21And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart, and prospered.

31:22Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

31:22Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.

31:22How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.

31:22And it was told Laban on the third day that Jacob was fled.

31:22Moses therefore wrote this song the same day, and taught it the children of Israel.

31:22For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before thine eyes: nevertheless thou heardest the voice of my supplications when I cried unto thee.

31:22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

31:23For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

31:23Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.

31:23O love the LORD, all ye his saints: for the LORD preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer.

31:23And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I sware unto them: and I will be with thee.

31:23Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

31:23And he took his brethren with him, and pursued after him seven days' journey; and they overtook him in the mount Gilead.

31:23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

31:24And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished,

31:24Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.

31:24If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, Thou art my confidence;

31:24And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp.

31:24And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dream by night, and said unto him, Take heed that thou speak not to Jacob either good or bad.

31:24And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.

31:24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

31:25That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying,

31:25And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

31:25Then Laban overtook Jacob. Now Jacob had pitched his tent in the mount: and Laban with his brethren pitched in the mount of Gilead.
