37:15Wherefore the princes were wroth with Jeremiah, and smote him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.
37:15And Hezekiah prayed unto the LORD, saying,
37:15The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,
37:15And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
37:15Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
37:15And a certain man found him, and, behold, he was wandering in the field: and the man asked him, saying, What seekest thou?
37:15Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?
37:16And he said, I seek my brethren: tell me, I pray thee, where they feed their flocks.
37:16O LORD of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
37:16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
37:16A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
37:16And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover withal, of pure gold.
37:16When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;
37:16Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?
37:17Incline thine ear, O LORD, and hear; open thine eyes, O LORD, and see: and hear all the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent to reproach the living God.
37:17And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
37:17And the man said, They are departed hence; for I heard them say, Let us go to Dothan. And Joseph went after his brethren, and found them in Dothan.
37:17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholdeth the righteous.
37:17Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.
37:17How thy garments are warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south wind?
37:17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand.
37:18Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have laid waste all the nations, and their countries,
37:18And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
37:18And when they saw him afar off, even before he came near unto them, they conspired against him to slay him.
37:18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these?
37:18Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?
37:18Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?
37:18The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
37:19And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.
37:19Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a knop and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a knop and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
37:19Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?
37:19Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
37:19They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
37:19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
37:19And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.
37:20But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
37:20And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
37:20Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.
37:20Now therefore, O LORD our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD, even thou only.
37:20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
37:20Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.
37:20Therefore hear now, I pray thee, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray thee, be accepted before thee; that thou cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
37:21The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
37:21And Reuben heard it, and he delivered him out of their hands; and said, Let us not kill him.
37:21Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria:
37:21And a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
37:21And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passeth, and cleanseth them.
37:21Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
37:21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
37:22For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
