37:22And Reuben said unto them, Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit that is in the wilderness, and lay no hand upon him; that he might rid him out of their hands, to deliver him to his father again.
37:22Fair weather cometh out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.
37:22Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
37:22This is the word which the LORD hath spoken concerning him; The virgin, the daughter of Zion, hath despised thee, and laughed thee to scorn; the daughter of Jerusalem hath shaken her head at thee.
37:22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
37:23And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him;
37:23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.
37:23The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.
37:23Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and against whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even against the Holy One of Israel.
37:23And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his snuffdishes, of pure gold.
37:23Touching the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.
37:24Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.
37:24And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them.
37:24Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
37:24By thy servants hast thou reproached the Lord, and hast said, By the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the sides of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars thereof, and the choice fir trees thereof: and I will enter into the height of his border, and the forest of his Carmel.
37:24Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.
37:24And they took him, and cast him into a pit: and the pit was empty, there was no water in it.
37:25And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.
37:25I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
37:25I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged places.
37:25And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
37:25And they sat down to eat bread: and they lifted up their eyes and looked, and, behold, a company of Ishmeelites came from Gilead with their camels bearing spicery and balm and myrrh, going to carry it down to Egypt.
37:26He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed.
37:26Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore.
37:26And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
37:26And Judah said unto his brethren, What profit is it if we slay our brother, and conceal his blood?
37:26Hast thou not heard long ago, how I have done it; and of ancient times, that I have formed it? now have I brought it to pass, that thou shouldest be to lay waste defenced cities into ruinous heaps.
37:27Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded: they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as corn blasted before it be grown up.
37:27And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it withal.
37:27My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
37:27Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
37:27Come, and let us sell him to the Ishmeelites, and let not our hand be upon him; for he is our brother and our flesh. And his brethren were content.
37:28Then there passed by Midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up Joseph out of the pit, and sold Joseph to the Ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought Joseph into Egypt.
37:28For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:28And the heathen shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
37:28And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
37:28But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage against me.
37:29And Reuben returned unto the pit; and, behold, Joseph was not in the pit; and he rent his clothes.
37:29The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
37:29And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.
37:29Because thy rage against me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest.
37:30And he returned unto his brethren, and said, The child is not; and I, whither shall I go?
37:30The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.
37:30And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.
37:31And the remnant that is escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
37:31The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
37:31And they took Joseph's coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;
37:32For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of the LORD of hosts shall do this.
37:32And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.
37:32The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him.
